STEM

@ THE CREEK

In STEM, traditional disciplines of science and math are brought to life with real-world connections that incorporate engineering and technology. Students are encouraged to be curious about God’s world, to celebrate God’s incredible creation, and to explore how STEM can be used to help others.

Project based learning is at the heart of our program and students have the opportunity to learn using real world scenarios. Students also learn about STEM careers and practice skills many employers seek such as critical thinking, project management, teamwork, communication, and creativity.

We offer a STEM elective for 3rd - 12th grade. STEM projects are also completed in science (Example: the science and engineering of a catapult) and math courses (Example: measuring angles using an outdoor trebuchet).
