CORE VALUES & BELIEFS

CORE VALUES

The approach to accomplishing our mission is crucial. The Following CORE VALUES guide our policies, decisions and relationships in all areas of our school's community.

  1. TRUTH: God's Word is the absolute authority as the foundation for all truth and, therefore, for all teaching and decisions.
  2. LEADERSHIP: Every person serving in any leadership capacity with CCA is to be a Christian in agreement with the statements of faith of CCA and is engaged as a role model, both in and out of school.
  3. MATURITY: Demonstrates a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a life submitted to the Holy Spirit's control.
  4. BIBLICAL INTEGRATION: All scholastic, fine arts, and athletic programs are to be fully integrated with God's Word.
  5. FAMILY SUPPORT: The school program lovingly supports families in their desire to raise godly young men and women, to provide a biblically based education and to foster consistency in moral and spiritual values.
  6. KINGDOM EDUCATION: Every person (teacher, student, parent) is challenged to reach his or her full potential in Christ, evidenced by internal commitment, not just outward performance.
  7. EVANGELISM: There is nothing more important than encouraging people to respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.
  8. OPERATIONAL INTEGRITY: The school's day-to-day operation, business, and financial practices are a consistent model of integrity, efficiency, and accountability.

At Creekside Christian Academy We Believe…

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15, II Peter 1:21).
  2. We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit  (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
  3. We believe: In the deity of Christ (John 10:33) His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35) His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26) His miracles (John 2:11) His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9) His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4) His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19) His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 10:11).
  4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
  5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
  7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life  (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18).
  8. We believe God created and sanctioned marriage to bring a man and a woman, the complementary halves of humanity, by joining them in “one flesh” unions.  (Gen. 2:18-25) Marriage between one man and one woman for life uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His church. (Eph. 5:22-23)
  9. We believe gender matters. God wonderfully creates each person as male or female and these distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen. 1:26-27)
  10. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are, therefore, called to defend, protect and value all human life.  (Ps. 139)
