Chorus

The purpose of the chorus program, which begins from K3 within Music Class and in Chapels, is to help all students express their praise to our God through the act of worship that He has requested and commanded from us, His pinnacle creation. Our goal is to train every voice to more easily and freely express emotion in performance, and more importantly, in the worship of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Choirs at CCA consistently receive Superior and Excellent ratings at ACSI Choral Festivals and GAPPS State Chorus Competitions. In 2022-23, VOCCA received Superior ratings at ACSI and GAPPS, placing third at State, and our 6^th Grade Chorus received a Superior rating at ACSI.

4^th Grade Chorus (all students)
5^th Grade Chorus (choose Chorus or Band)
6^th Grade Chorus (choose Chorus or Band)
MS Chorus (7^th-8^th)
HS Chorus (9^th-12^th) -- elective/credit class
VOCCA – Voices of CCA (8^th-12^th) – auditions are held at the beginning of each school year for this advanced ensemble whose purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to sing more advanced music, many times in an acapella format. (extracurricular)
Worship Team (9^th-12^th) – singers are selected based on auditions for the HS Worship Team (extracurricular)
