Band

God created us to be instruments with the ability to sing and make music.

"Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation." Psalms 95:1

Bands at CCA consistently received Superior and Excellent ratings at ACSI Band Festival, GAPPS Band Competition and GMEA LGPE (Large Group Performance Evaluation). During the 2022-23 school year, the HS Band received straight 1s, earning a Superior rating at LGPE.

Band Opportunities

4^th Grade Recorder (all students)
5^th Grade Beginning Band (choose Band or Chorus)
6^th Grade Beginning Band (choose Band or Chorus)
MS Band (7^th-8^th)
HS Band (9^th-12^th) – elective credit class
Pep Band (6^th-12^th) – members of this auditioned group play for all home football games and select home basketball games (extracurricular)
Worship Team (9^th-12^th) – musicians are selected based on auditions for the HS Worship Team (extracurricular)
